Granit Xhaka has now sent a message to an Arsenal player who Mikel Arteta wants to sell this summer – amid reports.
The Switzerland international – who is currently impressing at UEFA EURO 2024 – left the Emirates Stadium for Bayer Leverkusen in July 2023, although he is still keeping in touch with his old Arsenal teammates through Instagram.

Granit Xhaka sends message to Gabriel Jesus
The 31-year-old has now sent a message to Arsenal No.9 Gabriel Jesus on Instagram.
It has been a tough summer for the South American so far, after Dorival Júnior left him out of the Brazil squad for the Copa America, and a number of strong sources – such as The Athletic – believe Arteta wants to sell the forward this summer.
Jesus scored just eight goals in 36 appearances throughout the 2023/24 campaign.
Nevertheless, the South American is working hard to turn his situation around, posting a photo of himself training alone, to which Xhaka responded: “What a player 💪🏻❤️.”
The 27-year-old has been seen training with Neymar, as sources inform TBR Football that Saudi Arabian clubs are keen to sign him this summer, and the Gunners will not stand in his way.
Given the financial power of those in the Saudi Pro League, Arsenal actually have a good chance of recouping all – if not more – of the £45m spent to sign Jesus from Manchester City in July 2022.
