Tom Brady is no stranger to the spotlight.
Even in retirement, the seven-time Super Bowl champion knows how to grab attention.
Brady’s watch steals the show
In a newly released vlog on his YouTube channel, Brady gives fans an exclusive look at his hectic Super Bowl week, including his highly anticipated broadcasting debut.
But one moment, in particular, has captured the internet’s attention-his choice of wristwear.
In the behind-the-scenes video, Brady is seen in his Fox trailer preparing for his commentary duties at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
When asked by a cameraman to show off his watch, the 47-year-old NFL legend casually responds, “Just a little something,” before revealing a dazzling Yellow Sapphire Caviar Tourbillon by Jacob & Co.
At first, fans speculated that Brady was sporting a $600,000 Caviar Tourbillon model, but it was later revealed that his timepiece was even more extravagant-worth a staggering $740,000.
The luxury watch features 49 carats of gems, including 338 brilliant-cut diamonds, a golden yellow face, and a brown leather wristband.
The case alone is set with 224 baguette-cut gems, making it a true statement piece.
Brady’s watch quickly became a hot topic among fans, but it wasn’t even the most expensive timepiece at the Caesars Superdome that night.
That honor belonged to music mogul Jay-Z, who arrived wearing a $3.5 million RM66 Flying Tourbillon ‘Rockstar’ in red-orange sapphire-a watch so rare that only one other exists in the world.
The vlog also captures Brady participating in various football activities leading up to the Super Bowl, including showing off his arm strength in passing drills.
After an intense week, the former quarterback unwound the next day by hitting the golf course-shirtless and in peak shape.
Brady, who spent 23 seasons in the NFL and won seven Super Bowls, remains an influential figure in the sport.
Beyond his new role as a broadcaster, he is also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Last year, he auctioned off a significant portion of his personal watch collection, with 41 pieces selling for over $9 million.
Though his days on the field are over, Brady continues to embrace the finer things in life, whether it’s calling the biggest game of the year or sporting a timepiece fit for an NFL legend.
