The best Real Madrid news of transfer deadline day doesn’t include signings

Posted on September 2, 2025 by sportsmars60@gmail.com
Real Madrid Press Conference - LaLiga EA Sports

So far, in the three games Real Madrid have played this season, it’s safe to say Real Madrid fans have been very pleased with what they are seeing from new head coach Xabi Alonso. The team have taken all nine points available so far, scoring six goals while conceding only one.

Alonso’s side has looked strong in the first three games, and he still doesn’t even have his full squad available to him as they are still dealing with injuries to some of the key players in the side. Jude Bellingham is the most notable star out injured, but there are two other big-name stars sidelined, one of which is arguably just as important as Bellingham.

Eduardo Camavinga and Endrick have been sidelined with injuries dating back to this summer ,and many have been questioning when we’ll see the two stars back on the pitch.

The hot start to the season has been pleasing to fans all over the world, and according to reports, there is even more positive news on the horizon for Xabi Alonso, the fans, and Real Madrid as a whole.

As being reported by The Athletic, Real Madrid are expecting the injured duo of Eduardo Camavinga and Endrick to return from their injuries after the upcoming international break ahead of Real’s next La Liga match against Real Sociedad.

Camavinga suffered an ankle injury in August, just days before Real’s preseason friendly against WSG Tirol. At first, he was only expected to be out for around two weeks, but his recovery took much longer than originally thought. This was a major blow to Xabi Alonso, as the Frenchman was expected to be a major player in his system this season.

As for Endrick, the Brazilian has been out injured since late May after suffering a hamstring injury. He was close to returning before the start of the Club World Cup this summer, but he unfortunately suffered a setback during his recovery and still has yet to return to match fitness.

However, both have been progressing well in their recovery process, and with the time off during the international break, both are on course to return to action and be back in Xabi Alonso’s squad for Real’s first game back after the break against Real Sociedad.

This is a major boost for Xabi Alonso, as the new manager will now have more weapons at his disposal to come off the bench or even rotate in the starting lineup during this long, gruelling season.
