Titles haven’t been announced and not all roles have been finalized, but the Patriots’ offensive staff is taking shape.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel hired offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels last week and there’s since been a handful of reports linking assistant coaches to New England, including a flurry that surfaced Monday morning.

Here’s what Vrabel has built based on reports:

Offensive coordinator: Josh McDaniels
Quarterbacks coach: Ashton Grant
Tight ends coach/ Pass-game coordinator: Thomas Brown
Offensive line coach: Doug Marrone
Offensive line assistant: Jason Houghtaling
Running backs coach: Tony Dews

The group is a blend of coaches with NFL experience and assistants with ties to Vrabel.

Marrone, a two-time NFL head coach who’s been in the league for the better part of two decades, and Brown, an offensive-minded assistant who served as the Bears interim head coach in 2024, fit the first category. Grant, who served on the Browns staff with Vrabel in 2024, and Houghtaling, who was an offensive line assistant for the Titans (2021-23), fit the latter.
