A great win by Arsenal against a poor Chelsea side. At one stage the Arsenal crowd amused thmeselves by olaying Chelsea whenever they strung a few passes together., well it was 5-0 and could have easily been more

Raya – 6 / I don’t like giving keepers less than a 7 usually when they’ve kept a clean sheet. But he had next to nothing to do.
White – 8 / Two goals and our best defender by a country mile tonight. Outstanding player.
Saliba – 6 / Surprisingly struggled with Jackson (who is s.hite) early on, but got his bearings in the end and improved.
Gabriel – 7 / Solid as always.
Tomi – 6 / Thought he was poor. Made mistakes and was poor going forward and at the back (which is unusual for him).
Partey – 6 / Made a comment in the match thread that he looked stuck in the mud. Caught in possession too often, looked rusty and needs to improve.
Rice – 9 / Outstanding from start to finish again. Drove the team on and got an assist as well.
Odegaard – 9 / As with Rice, another world class performance. Absolutely bossed it with some unbelievable passes and 2 assists. Would have been a 10/10 if it wasn’t for a few stray passes in the first half. MOTM.
Saka – 7 / Did ok and caused Chelsea some problems in the first half and got an assist as well.
Havertz – 8 / Poor first half to be honest, didn’t seem at the races. But more than made up for it in the second half to devastating effect with two quality finishes.
Trossard – 7 / Keeps scoring important goals and another tonight. He’s been a great signing and a bargain for what we got him for.
Subs: Jesus, Martinelli, Jorginho, Zinchenko, Vieira – 6’s all around. Game was won and they just needed to see it out.
