Nick Foles Trolls Patriots’ Tom Brady Amid Eagles’ Super Bowl Victory

Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time again for former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles.

Brady and the Patriots lost the Super Bowl to Foles and the Eagles in 2018, and Foles didn’t let Brady live it down on Sunday when the Eagles dismantled the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22.

Since Brady was present as a broadcaster for FOX, Foles saw the correlation between both Eagles’ Super Bowl wins.

“It’s really cool that Tom Brady got to be there for the Eagles’ two Super Bowl wins! He might be a good luck charm,” Foles wrote on X.com on Sunday. “Have a great night.!”

Unlike Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brady had much more success against the Eagles in 2018. Brady threw for 505 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-33 shootout loss.

Foles had 373 yards and three touchdowns on 28-34 passing, winning the Super Bowl MVP.

Besides Foles, former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has given Brady a hard time over Super Bowl defeats. Manning and the Giants beat Brady and the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2008 and 2012.

The Patriots’ first loss to the Giants notably came up during the broadcast since the Chiefs came into the game looking to make history.

New England fell a helmet catch short of the first-ever 19-0 championship season, but the Chiefs didn’t even get near the end zone for most of three quarters on Sunday in an attempt to three-peat.
