Marcu Thuram could have some Premier League clubs scrambling for his signature as Inter Milan ponders a high-profile sale of the Frenchman.

Premier League trio keen on Marcus Thuram

Arsenal are one of the clubs reporteldy looking at Marcus Thuram, and they might have approached last summer when he was available on a free transfer. The Gunners could enter the market for a new striker, and the 26-year-old versatile French attacker’s performances in Inter Milan’s title-winning campaign might resurrect their interest.

They are also keen on Dusan Vlahovic, but much will depend on the prices for strikers in the summer. The Gunners are joined by Manchester United in the race for Thuram, with the club looking at a partner for Rasmus Hojlund ahead of the summer. They are already out of the race for Serhou Guirassy, citing the need to sign someone younger, as the 26-year-old versatile French attacker might fit the bill.

Chelsea are also in the market for a proven No.9, and might view Thurama as the perfect fit. The Frenchman can play as a lone striker or as he did at Inter Milan, in partnership with Lautaro Martinez.

Overall, should Inter Milan decide to put Thuram up for sale in the summer, they will have plenty of suitors in the market. The Frenchman is currently valued at €60 million by Transfermarkt, which would mean good profit for Inter Milan in the sale scenario.

Why are Inter Milan selling Thuram?

Inter Milan are embroiled in financial troubles and has more than €350 million-plus debts ahead of the summer. They might need to raise at least €100 million in profits to pay the interest payments and could look to sell some of their notable performers, including Thuram.

The Frenchman’s sale will especially get them a good payday, considering they signed him on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer. Hence, if there’s one player they can profit from, it’s Thuram.
