Liverpool, Manchester United rival Arsenal, Chelsea in Raphinha chase

Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all keen on having Barcelona winger Raphinha in their ranks.

According to a report by Fichajes, Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have all been linked with Raphinha. While the Brazilian winger is doing a great job at Barcelona, his future at the club is uncertain amidst their ongoing financial struggles.

Raphinha made a name for himself at Leeds United before joining the Catalan giants in the summer of 2022. While he has been a consistent performer for the Spanish club, his future has always been the talk of the town because of his limited game time and the club’s financial position.

In the ongoing season, the 27-year-old winger has featured in 32 matches. While he has been on the pitch for just over 1,600 minutes, Raphinha has contributed with nine goals and ten assists. Xavi has used him on both flanks and he has delivered every time for the Spanish manager.

While everything on the pitch seems to be going fine, he could still be sold in the upcoming summer transfer window. Barcelona could look to cash in on him as they will need to raise funds to reinforce their squad.

Arsenal, Chelsea keen on Raphinha

Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Raphinha’s situation at the Spanish club, and if he is available, they could make a move in the summer. The London clubs are looking to add more depth on the flanks.

While Arsenal and Chelsea do have a lot of quality out wide, they are looking at Raphinha as someone who will bring the experience and will strengthen their overall squad. His arrival will give both the Londoners more options to choose from.

Liverpool, Manchester United to challenge the London clubs?

Arsenal and Chelsea will face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United, who are also interested in the 27-year-old for different reasons. With Mohamed Salah’s future uncertain, the Reds are looking at him as a potential replacement for the Egypt international.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have a lot of problems on the right flank. They have spent millions to bolster that part of the pitch, but it has not worked out. With the future of Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Antony uncertain, they are looking at Raphinha as a potential target to help their cause.
