Kieran Tierney is one of seven Arsenal outcasts that have been made available for transfer.
The former Celtic hero, 26, has been out on-loan with La Liga frontrunners Real Sociedad but is due back to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
However, his future at Arsenal appears bleak, even though he’s contracted until June 2026.
Earlier this week the Scotland internationalist told the Athletic that he wasn’t wanting to return to Arsenal to not feature regularly.
On his future lying elsewhere, he said: “There is every chance. Look at the squad depth in that position now.
“They have [Oleksandr] Zinchenko, [Jurrien] Timber, [Takehiro] Tomiyasu, [Jakub] Kiwior. Four players can play there. So if I go back and it’s the same as before then I’m not silly, I know the chances are I’ll be leaving.
“But you never know in football. You get the rare case with [William] Saliba, where he came back after a couple of good seasons (out on loan) but you don’t see it too often with someone who has played for four years, left, and then come back to play again.
“Stranger things have happened. I could go back and there is a place for me. So I’m prepared for both.”
Now a report from the Daily Mirror claims the north London club will entertain bid for Tierney, Aaron Ramsdale, Nuno Tavares, Alberti Sambi Lokogna, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Emmie Smith Rowe, during the close season.
Cedric Soares, Mohamed Elneny and back-up goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo are also due to depart upon the expiry of their contracts which are up at the end of June.
