Jude Bellingham once said ‘not many players can stop’ £25m Arsenal target

Arsenal are likely to be busy on the transfer front over the coming weeks as they look to strengthen their ranks.

The Gunners have gone from strength to strength under Mikel Arteta in recent years, and are now back among the best in the Premier League.

Arsenal have been in the title race for two years running and will be eager to finally go all the way to win a trophy that has eluded them since 2004.

The Gunners have been linked with a host of top players in recent months, including one who has been praised by Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham.

Jude Bellingham has previously hailed Arsenal target Karim Adeyemi

The player in question is Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, who played alongside Bellingham at the Bundesliga club.

According to CaughtOffside, Adeyemi is on the radar of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Blues are reportedly planning an opening bid of around £25million for the Germany international, who can play across the front line.

In 2023, Bellingham spoke highly of Adeyemi after scoring a goal that put Dortmund 1-0 up against Chelsea in their Champions League last-16 first leg.

“We are really confident when he gets the ball one on one,” he said, as per talkSPORT.

“Not many players can stop him. He had a tough time coming here at the start – finding his feet – and now he’s flying.”

Adeyemi has ‘almost everything a striker needs’

Arsenal could do with bolstering their attacking ranks further for next season, as they sometimes struggled to break teams down last term.

Adeyemi would be a good shout for the Gunners. At just 22 years of age, he already has a combined 160 appearances for Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg, plus four Germany caps.

“Karim has almost everything a striker needs. His quality and speed are incredible,” Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle previously said, as per the Bundesliga website.

However, Chelsea appear to be in pole position at present in terms of their intent, so Arsenal will need to move quickly or at least be ready to pounce while monitoring the Blues’ activity.
