Unfortunate news from John Force Racing. During last night’s massive storms that impacted multiple states, their Indiana race shop was damaged. Located in Brownsburg, the NHRA team shop took “severe” damage.

From the south up through Indiana, there were so many communities devastated by Wednesday night’s storms. Tornadoes and high winds caused damage to homes and vehicles.

“We are a racing community and family, and it was felt and seen in action in the last 24 hours,” the team said in a statement. Unfortunate, but also heartwarming as they have received so much support in such little time.

To put it in perspective, the damage in Brownsburg can be seen in these images of the Sur Le Table warehouse. The John Force Racing shop is not far from this warehouse.

The NHRA season continues at Las Vegas Motor Speedway next week for the Four-Wide Nationals. Then, they will head to zMax Dragway in Concord, North Carolina, two weeks after that. It has already been quite a thrilling and, at times, scary season.

John Force Racing in 2025

This season, John Force Racing has three drivers across two divisions. Brittany Force in Top Fuel with Austin Prock and Jack Beckman in Funny Car. Of course, John Force was injured last season in a massive crash that has kept him out of the car for an extended period of time.

So far this season, things have been mixed for the JFR team. Jack Beckman is out to a 59 point lead over second place in Funny Car through the first three events of the season. 100 points behind Beckman is his teammate Austin Prock who could have used a hotter start.

Meanwhile, Brittany Force is sitting in fourth place in the Top Fuel standings. She is sandwiched between a pair of motorsports legends in Antron Brown (third) and Tony Stewart (fifth). Force is 98 points off from early-season leader Shawn Langdon.

There is a lot more racing left in 2025. John Force Racing will hopefully be able to race without any major issues or delays from the storms. Here’s to hoping they are able to compete and get back to their normal routines soon. Thoughts and prayers for all of those impacted by the violent storms Wednesday night.
