New images of a leaked Arsenal home kit for the 2024/25 season appear to confirm the design that Mikel Arteta’s players will wear. Earlier in April, an eagle-eyed snap of a shirt from a window in a building close to the Emirates Stadium emerged, showing a physical version of concepts that had previously been posted online.
Now, that design looks to have been confirmed with yet another leaked photo of the red jersey matching the same outline and pattern. Along with navy stripes on the arms in the branding of kit makers Adidas, there is a larger white presence along the shoulders and side of the body.
Going one step beyond the current white trim, the new kit includes a curved white outline of the chest plate with dark stripes instead of gold. The one big change to the kit is the badge, though.
Instead of the standard Arsenal logo, there is simply a white cannon in its place. In a throwback to kits from the 1960s to 1980s, the smart-looking number moves away from the typical Arsenal shield and letters.
This has become commonplace on away tops or third kits in the last few years but has not yet been used for home versions. The same looks to be true again of the second kit, with previous leaks showing a fresh colour scheme including sky blue and purple.
