Green Bay Packers: Bryan Bulaga Fires Direct Offseason Advice For Brian Gutekunst’s Front Office

Coming off a disappointingly early exit from the NFL playoffs, the Green Bay Packers are turning their attention to what should be a busy offseason ahead.

The Packers, who suffered a 22-10 loss on the road to the Philadelphia Egles in the wild-card round, can still be given lots of credit for finishing with 11 wins and making it to the postseason despite dealing with injuries, particularly to quarterback Jordan Love.

Nevertheless, the goal is always to win the Super Bowl, and if the Packers are to get there and win a Vince Lombardi Trophy in the 2025 season, Green Bay’s front office has some work to do.

Former Packers offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga recently said that the Packers “gotta hit on those impact guys.”

The Packers have ways to shore up their roster in the offseason. There is the NFL free agency, the option to make trades and the upcoming 2025 NFL draft, where Green Bay is picking 23rd overall in the first round.

But speaking of impact players, the rumors linking the Packers to the likes of defensive superstars Maxx Crosby and Myles Garrett continue to swirl. It will take a significant package for a team to pry out either star from their respective teams, but it doesn’t hurt to kick the tires. There should also be lower-tier but potentially impactful free-agent targets for Green Bay to check out.

In 2024, the Packers were eighth in scoring with 26.1 points per game and sixth with 20.0 points allowed per contest.
