Arsenal are monitoring Xavi Simons’ situation at RB Leipzig and a move to the Premier League could be on the cards for the Dutch attacker.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Gunners are “attentive to Simons’ situation” and he’s open to leaving Leipzig. He has shone at Red Bull Arena, including last season, with 10 goals and seven assists in 25 Bundesliga games.
The North Londoners have already held talks with the Bundesliga club this summer over a failed move for Benjamin Sesko. They now appear to have his Dutch teammate on their radar, although they face competition.
Romano gave an update on Simons’ future and suggested Chelsea are also keeping an eye on the Dutchman’s situation. He downplayed links to Barcelona with a post on X:
Simons has two years left on his contract, but Leipzig’s failure to qualify for Europe could lead to a switch this summer. It’s thought that the German club are demanding around €70m (£60.6m) for a player they signed from Paris Saint-Germain in a €50m + €30m (£43.3m + £26m) deal.

The 28-cap Netherlands international is seemingly on a three-man list of options to bolster Mikel Arteta’s attack. The Gunners have reportedly reached a broad agreement with Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze over personal terms but a move for the England international is expected to come with another winger.
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo remains a possibility and reports claim that the North London outfit are set to make a £69m offer. The Brazilian’s wage demands could make a deal difficult ..
Simons, who Breaking The Lines label a “superstar” talent, offers versatility as he can play in attacking midfield, out wide and as a second striker. He’s put up impressive numbers in Germany and his homeland, registering 22 goals and 11 assists in 48 games for PSV Eindhoven.
