Cowboys’ Shocking Odds For Super Bowl LX Revealed

It’s been a rough year already for Dallas-Fort Worth sports fans. Will 2026 be better?

In a week that started with the shockingly lopsided trade of Dallas Mavericks’ star Luka Doncic to the rival Los Angeles Lakers ended Sunday with the Dallas Cowboys’ biggest rival – the Philadelphia Eagles – winning Super Bowl LIX.

Even before the green and white confetti stopped raining down inside the Superdome in New Orleans after the Eagles’ dominating 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, oddsmakers urged NFL fans and teams to turn the page on this season to next season.

At the BetMGM Sportsbook, odds are already posted for the winner of Super Bowl LX, to be played Feb. 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Not surprisingly, the Eagles (+625) and Chiefs (+650) are the two favorites to make it back to the championship game, followed by the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens at +675. The drop-off to the next tier of contenders includes the Detroit Lions (+1100), San Francisco 49ers (+1400) and Washington Commanders (+1700).

Despite Micah Parson’s persistent, public comments about his team “winning the NFC” and “lifting the trophy next year,” oddsmakers are drastically skittish about the Cowboys under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Coming off a disappointing 7-10 season, the Cowboys are nowhere near the favorites to play in next season’s Super Bowl.

Out of 32 teams, they are given the 20th-best odds at +6000, such a longshot that a $100 bet would return $6,000 if they break their 29-year Super Bowl drought next season. Dallas is humbly ranked behind teams like the Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears in the NFC.

They are at least not predicted to be the worst team in the NFC East, as the New York Giants are tied with the Tennessee Titans for the worst odds at +20000.

The Cowboys last won the Super Bowl in 1996, when they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers to win XXX in Tempe, Arizona.
