Confirmed line-ups: Man City vs Arsenal – White misses out for Gunners

We head into the game sitting two points behind City in the table following last weekend’s 1-0 win at Tottenham. Mikel Arteta will be wanting to at least maintain that gap with a draw but ideally we can leapfrog above our title rivals with victory today.

Arsenal have been dealt a major blow with the news that Ben White is carrying a minor knee injury so isn’t risked from the start. Jurrien Timber moves across to right-back with Riccardo Calafiori coming in at left-back.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes continue their partnership together in the middle of defence. David Raya starts in goal once again and he’ll be high in confidence after his heroics on Thursday night that secured a draw away to Atalanta in the Champions League.

Thomas Partey starts in the holding role while Declan Rice also returns to Premier League action after missing the win at Spurs through suspension. Jorginho is named on the bench alongside Ethan Nwaneri with Martin Odegaard ruled out.

Leandro Trossard starts along with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz so Gabriel Jesus has to settle for a place among the substitutes along with Raheem Sterling.

As for Man City, Kevin de Bruyne misses out due to injury so Ilkay Gundogan gets a start along with Bernardo Silva and Rodri in midfield.

These are the teams:

Arsenal

Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Saka, Partey, Rice, Martinelli; Trossard, Havertz
