Bukayo Saka fitness hint spotted ahead of Arsenal’s clash vs Brighton

Arsenal may have inadvertently revealed a team news clue for their upcoming trip to Brighton on Saturday evening, amid concerns over the fitness of Bukayo Saka.

The Gunners faithful are sweating over the availability of their star man, who was already considered a doubt for the encounter, and his absence from the latest training snaps could suggest he may not be ready to face the Seagulls. Arsenal travel to the Amex Stadium on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off).

The north Londoners breezed past Luton Town with a comfortable 2-0 win in their midweek fixture, with Mikel Arteta taking the opportunity to shuffle his pack. Key players such as Declan Rice, Jorginho, and Gabriel Martinelli were given a breather, while Saka wasn’t even included in the squad due to fitness concerns.

Saka’s availability for Arsenal’s visit to the south coast remains up in the air, with Arteta playing his cards close to his chest during Friday’s press conference. When quizzed about whether Saka would be fit in time for the Brighton clash before their training session, Arteta said: “We have a training session in a few hours and we will know if he’s fit or not.”

While Brighton’s preparations might be complicated by the uncertainty surrounding Saka’s condition, Arsenal’s recent post on social media has potentially tipped off fans about the winger’s situation just a day before the game. The Gunners shared a series of photos from their training session at the Sobha Realty Training Centre ahead of their match against Brighton, but Saka was noticeably absent from all 14 images.
