Durant has been out for the last six games with a left ankle sprain that will officially be marked as season-ending. Beal is listed out for rest; he played in the last five games after missing eight consecutive games with a left hamstring strain. Beal played in just 53 games this season, it marks his sixth straight season playing at most 60 games.

Booker is out with right calf soreness and played in 75 games — the most since his second year in the league (78). Nick Richards will miss his third straight game with right elbow inflammation. Coach Mike Budenholzer pregame noted that it was something the bruising big man simply couldn’t play through.

With the potential to finish the season 10 games under .500, this Suns season may not just be the most disappointing in franchise history, but in NBA history. Through constant trade talks leading up to this season’s deadline and offseason speculation that ramped back up shortly thereafter, it is evident that a change must be made.

Whether it is firing Budenholzer, trading Beal and/or Durant, blowing it up, or even — in the worst case — trading Booker, the franchise icon, something has to give.
