Italian national team and Bologna centre back Riccardo Calafiori has not been seen at training today, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Is this yet another sign that Arsenal have secured a deal for the defender or might it just be a coincidence? Calafiori has been in the eye of many clubs after a wonderful season at Bologna and a glimpse of magic at EURO2024, but Arsenal seems like his ultimate destination this summer.
It now looks like just a matter of time before a deal is done and Calafiori is in London wearing red and white. The Rossoblu released a list of players that would ply their trade for them at the training camp in Valles and Calafiori’s name isn’t present, suggesting that he would leave the club.
Jhon Lucumi’s name is also absent but he will return to training in early August, as Calafiori inches close to the Emirates.
