Arteta has given his youngsters ample opportunities so far. Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, and Ayden Heaven are some academy products who got a good chance to prove they are ready for a stint in the first team.

Arteta has been using Lewis-Skelly as an inverted left-back and the youngster does look comfortable in the role. If he continues his form he could become the long-term replacement for Zinchenko.
Arsenal Injuries to Consider
Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) are still the only injury concerns for Arsenal. Both players are expected to miss the entire pre-season.
David Raya, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Declan Rice are back in training. They were given an extended holiday due to their participation in the latter stages of Euro 2024 and can now be expected to take part in the pre-season matches.
