As expected, we are at that point in the season where the transfer gurus like Fabrizio Romano and our very own Ornacle, Sir Ornstein, take center stage with juicy transfer tattle that will get the loins tingling with anticipation.
In recent times, there have been more talk of departures at Arsenal with Albert Sambi Lokonga confirming that his time with the club is pretty much over, while Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Spares have to find pastures anew as their contracts haven’t been extended. The first sale of the summer would probably be the teenage sensation, Mika Biereth, that had a very favorable loan spell at Sturm Graz, and if what we read in the papers are right, the higher ups of the Austrian outfit are arriving at the Emirates this week to negotiate a potential deal for the young Dane.
It is a well known fact that Arsenal are in need of a new striker and despite the change of tactics that saw Kai Havertz lead the line for the latter half of the campaign, I don’t expect him to be a long term option despite his proficiency. Enter Benjamin Sesko, the youngin from RB Leipzig that is one of the most sought after names in world football. Tall, imposing, great technical ability and will fit perfectly to the project at Arsenal.
The best part is that he will not be expected to hit the ground running immediately and can have the much-needed time to blend into the sways before staking a claim for the center forward berth. Sesko’s arrival also allows Gabriel Jesus the opportunity to play from the wings without that added pressure of scoringany goals, as we have seen that it’s not necessarily his forte.
Sesko is not expected to command a monster signing fee, as £45m is probably enough to procure his services, which is half of what you’d pay for the Antonys and Mykhailo Mudryk of this world.
This is still speculation for now but I hope it materializes to a concrete move, which will be welcome and extremely Seskxy.
