A recent report from Spanish outlet Fichajes has stated that Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the Brentford star Mikkel Damsgaard. Mikel Arteta’s side are in search of an attacker who is versatile and hence have liked the Brentford star. The Bees won’t let the player leave for any transfer value below €40 million.
Mikkel Damsgaard has grown in stature at Brentford
Damsgaard signed for Brentford in the summer transfer window of 2022 from Sampdoria. He displayed excellent performances in the UEFA Euro 2020 and was one of the main reasons why Denmark qualified for the semi-final. He has grown in stature since his move to Brentford but has taken time to make his presence felt in the first team.
Damsgaard could definitely move to the Gunners before the winter transfer window of 2025 ends. Arsenal need an attacker who is versatile and Mikkel Damsgaard could provide them with all the traits. Brentford might not be looking to sell him mid-season, but a fee of around €40 million could change their minds.
