Garcia has been identified as a player Arsenal would like to bring in to provide competition to current number one David Raya and they have reportedly already agreed terms with the 23-year-old.
Despite those reports Arsenal are yet to make an official offer the goalkeeper who won Olympic gold with Spain this summer.
However, speaking to reporters after Espanyol’s game against Real Valladolid he insisted he was very happy at
“I am very calm,” he told reporters in response to questions over his future.
“I am a person who isolates himself from all this and I am focused on next Saturday’s game [against Real Sociedad].
“In football, these things do not depend on oneself, but I am very happy here.”
Garcia is under contract with the La Liga outfit until 2028 but is believed to have a release clause of £21m in his deal.
Any move for Garcia is dependant on Ramsdale leaving the club, but with the end of the window fast approaching an Emirates exit has yet to materialise for the former Bournemouth and Sheffield United shot stopper.
