Arsenal maintain hopes of winning the Premier League title going into the final fay of the season on Sunday.
The Gunners currently sit second, two points behind reigning champions Manchester City who are bidding for a record fourth consecutive Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta’s side must beat Everton and hope that City drop points against West Ham United in David Moyes’ final game in charge of the Hammers if they are to be triumphant and lift a first title in two decades.
City are firm favourites to emerge victorious, though, against a West ham side that have been in poor form of late.
In the meantime, Arsenal have emerged as the leading contenders to sign a Bundesliga striker.
According to The Telegraph, the North London outfit are interested in RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko.
the report claims that other clubs interested in Sesko, including Chelsea and AC Milan, believe that Arsenal are in pole position to land the 20-year-old.
Sesko joined Leipzig from RB Salzburg last summer and has since made 41 appearances across all competitions, scoring 17 goals.
The report claims that Arsenal are hoping to bolster their attacking options this summer and could look to sign Sesko.
The forward has scored in each of his last six games, and it has been reported that his release clause has jumped from £43 million to £64 million.
Sesko is contracted to Leipzig until the end of the 2027/28 season, but the Bundesliga side may face a battle to keep hold of the Slovenia international until then.
The impressive form of Kai Havertz in recent weeks means that Arsenal no longer need to sign an experienced, ready-made forward and could instead look to sign a younger striker with potential to develop at The Emirates.
