Arsenal are one of the clubs showing keen interest in signing Turkish striker Semih Kilicsoy.
According to a report from the Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 73), the Gunners want to sign the Besiktas forward, who has been constantly watched by several top clubs, including Fulham, PSG and Manchester City.
Arsenal narrowly finished second behind Man City in the Premier League last season. They have made gigantic progress under Mikel Arteta, and the Gunners are expected to add more quality to their ranks and fight for the title once again.
The 18-year-old is an “explosive” striker who can operate from either flank and is available for a fee of around £10 million. Several European clubs have monitored the player who has been capped twice by the Turkey national team.
Semih Kilicsoy would be terrific signing for Arsenal
The highly-rated young talent enjoyed a fabulous 2023-24 campaign scoring 12 times in 35 games in all competitions.
He is not a typical out-and-out striker but a wide forward with a thirst for goals. The Gunners already have a strong attacking set-up, and they will look to bolster their attacking areas further in the summer window.
Arsenal have a proven track record of nurturing young talents, and therefore, it is highly probable that they could move for Kilicsoy in the summer.
He is “very affordable” at the moment and would come at a bargain price should he make the move. However, with so many top clubs vying for his signature, Arsenal may need to move quickly to secure his signature if they are serious about him.
