If the allegations are true, Jimmy Butler is an absolute disgrace.
When Butler was traded from the Heat to the Golden State Warriors, the 35-year-old was absolutely ecstatic to get out of Miami. Butler has been hit with a lawsuit by Five Star Marketing and Promotions for $257,282 after he allegedly caused severe damage to a 5,398-square-foot house that he was renting out, the Miami Herald reported. On top of that, he’s also being accused of not paying two months of rent.
Filed in Miami-Dade County, the case alleges Butler left damages behind estimated to bring around $125,000 in repair costs, including new drywall mold remediation.
Butler also allegedly changed the residence’s locks and didn’t allow property managers to enter. He’s also being accused of overstaying his lease by two months.
Allegedly, allegedly, allegedly … with that being said, I can totally see these allegations being real knowing the ego of Jimmy Butler. Not to mention things always end on a bad note when Jimmy leaves a team.
