3 Arsenal players who would enhance the LA Galaxy roster

Arsenal have a very prominent fanbase from the United States. It is understandable to see why, given how big they are as a club and how USMNT goalkeeper Matt Turner spent one year developing there recently. But does Arsenal have any connection with LA Galaxy?

3 Arsenal players who would enhance the LA Galaxy roster

Let’s not rule out the potential of these three amazing Arsenal players representing LA Galaxy…

1. Jorginho

Firstly, we will throw a dream suggestion out into the ether. Jorginho is one of the best players in the Arsenal squad but he is now entering his final few months under contract.

Jorginho boasts the best experience out of any of the Arsenal roster, having won everything there is to win in the sport. He has bossed the European football scene and if he were to ever take on the USA soccer scene, we sure hope it would be with the Galaxy.

Jorginho was born in Brazil but he represents Italy for his national team. Therefore, his playing style is exactly as you’d imagine – A brilliant fusion between Brazilian flair and Italian grace.

One of the best passers of the ball in the world, Jorginho would bring a wealth of experience to the LA Galaxy and it would be a dream to see him play alongside Riqui Puig in the Los Angeles midfield.

2. Mohamed Elneny

Mohamed Elneny is approaching the final months of his Arsenal contract, having spent a whopping amount of time in North London. In total, Elneny has been with Arsenal for eight years, originally signing from Basel in 2016.

Elneny has been a valuable figure at Arsenal during those years and he has become a real fan favourite. While he hasn’t always been a sure-starter, Elneny has been an influential figure behind the scenes as he is known to be a real morale booster.

It remains to be seen whether Elneny would be open to signing for the LA Galaxy, however, his excellent box-to-box approach could be of great benefit to the Galaxy and ageing at 31 years old, Elneny could guarantee himself some minutes for a competitive side as he nears the end of his career.

3. Cedric Soares

Like Jorginho, Cedric Soares has represented some great clubs including Arsenal, Sporting CP and Inter Milan. Coming through the Sporting academy, which is one of the best in the world and famous for producing the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, Soares has picked up a thing or two along the way.

Boasting a European championship, Cedric Soares is yet to take on the MLS. However, much like the two others mentioned in this list, he is looking for a new club to represent after his Arsenal tenure ends. Cedric would certainly be a welcomed part of the LA Galaxy roster.
