Gabriel Magalhaes made his feelings clear to Gabriel Martinelli following the latter’s mishap during Arsenal’s clash against Wolves at Molineux.
Against an injury-stricken side, the Gunners were able to defend rather comfortably with Gabriel and William Saliba rarely troubled. David Raya was forced into some saves with Joao Gomes going the closest to getting the hosts on the score sheet.
Given they have recently returned from Germany following Champions League elimination at the hands of Bayern Munich, Arsenal, despite dominating, lacked a cutting edge up top. However, they took the lead just before half time with Leandro Trossard finding the top corner with a superb finish following excellent work by Gabriel Jesus.
Pablo Sarabia and Rayan Ait-Nouri came on in the late stages with the latter causing some problems and one moment nearly cost Arsenal that significantly angered Gabriel.
With Martinelli, on from the bench in the second half, perhaps not immediately up to speed with the game he allowed Ait-Nouri a run down the right with Gabriel then voiced his displeasure at his fellow Brazilian. The Algeria international has been in superb form recently and as such Arsenal are showing interest in signing him this summer.
