Riccardo Calafiori thanked Italy fans in his hometown, Rome, after a 2-2 draw against Belgium and published an appreciation Instagram story for his Arsenal teammate Leandro Trossard.
Calafiori played 90 minutes in Italy’s 2-2 draw against Belgium last night.
The former Bologna defender, born in Rome in 2002 and a Giallorossi youth and first-team player, shared an Instagram post on Friday morning to thank his hometown fans.
“Thank you, Rome. We focus on the next one now,” Calafiori wrote on Instagram, posting pictures from last night’s game against Belgium.
Calafiori saw his Arsenal teammate Trossard score and provide an assist last night, and after the game, he posted a cute picture of them talking on the pitch before the kick-off.
The Belgian talent initially published the picture, but Calafiori shared it on his profile, adding a heart emoji.
Calafiori has played eight games for Arsenal this season, scoring one goal.
