Arsenal Defender Joins Juventus Shortlist of Bremer Replacements

Juventus are still searching the market for a solution to replace Gleison Bremer who suffered a devastating ACL injury last week which will likely rule him out until the end of the season.

Not only have the Bianconeri lost arguably the league’s finest centre-back, but they have also been left with limited options for this role, especially with club captain Danilo failing to impress Thiago Motta.

In recent days, Juventus Football Director Cristiano Giuntoli insisted the club won’t sign a free agent at the moment, but they could be open to business in January.

Hence, Tuttosport revealed the possible options on the table, beginning with Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior who is facing fierce competition at the back from the likes of Gabriel, William Saliba and Riccardo Calafiori.

Therefore, the 24-year-old could be open for a January move in search of more playing time. The Poland international is familiar with Motta’s game having served under him during his time at Spezia.

Another former Motta pupil who could reunite with him in Turin is Bologna’s Sam Beukema. The newspaper also mentions Ajax teenager Jorrel Hato, believing Juventus could pounce on their good rapport with the Dutch giants who currently have Daniele Rugani on loan among their ranks.

On the other hand, the source also discusses possible internal solutions, like prompting Next Gen starlet Pedro Felipe, but the latter is currently injured.

The Bianconeri could also try to recall one of their loaned-out defenders. The report believes convincing Sassuolo to terminate Tareq Muharemovic’s loan would be easier than dealing with Feyenoord for Facundo Gonzalez who has recently made his Champions League debut.
