Scott Minto believes ‘lost’ Chelsea player would actually be better playing for Arsenal

Despite being rivals, there has been no shortage of business between Chelsea and Arsenal in recent years.

Even during the recent summer transfer window, the Gunners took Raheem Sterling on loan after he was told there was no future for him under Enzo Maresca.

The Blues are now well-stocked in options for the attack this season following the summer spending spree at Stamford Bridge.

Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho made their own moves to the club, with them believing they are equipped to take on any opponent.

The plethora of signings has left the immediate future of Mykhailo Mudryk in doubt. It has already been stated that Maresca is losing faith in the Ukrainian.

Minto says Mykhailo Mudryk would suit Chelsea better than Arsenal

He has been described as looking ‘lost’ in what the manager is trying to get across to him, and now faces the risk of losing out on minutes.

Scott Minto has claimed that he has not been convinced by the winger, with him saying he would suit better playing for Arsenal.

He said to TalkSPORT: “I am not sure he [Mykhailo Mudryk] is a great footballer. He certainly is not showing it at the moment.

Mudryk playing for his future

It feels as if Mudryk has been playing for his future whenever he has had the chance to play this season, with him not taking his chance to star when featuring.

Jamie O’Hara has previously stated that Chelsea would be better off selling Mudryk than Sterling, despite the fact it looks as if they are done with the England international.

There would have been a preference to sell Sterling permanently over the summer, however it seems as if his wages were an issue to any side who were considering signing him this summer.
