The Gunners travel to Germany this week for the second leg of their clash with Bayern, with the scores tied at 2-2.
It’s a game that could end up going either way really and the finest of margins might end up settling things.
Of course, one of those fine margins could be who is available for selection for both Bayern and Arsenal.
Having a full fit squad to choose from could be massive and as it stands, Arsenal do have that at their disposal.
However, over in Munich today, things have have took a turn for the worse for Bayern as one of their key players has left the field against FC Koln with what looks like a serious
injury.
The winger is one of Bayern’s key men and the idea of him not being available against Arsenal could have a massive bearing on things.
Of course, there is no way to tell quite what the exact nature of the injury is right now.
But looking at Coman needing two medical team members to hold him up and the way the Bayern fans reacted, it looks to be a serious enough blow.
For Arsenal, it will go down with their fans as a bit of a boost in terms of their hopes of making the semi-finals.
For Bayern, it is a massive blow to lose such a player and they’ll be hoping that Coman can recover quickly and this is nothing more than a precaution.
Time will tell. But right now, this might just tip things in Arsenal’s favour.
