Arsenal’s Champions League League Phase fixtures have been confirmed, with the Gunners kicking things off away to Atalanta.
All of Arsenal’s games are at 20:00 BST, with the dates listed below:
- Thursday, September 19th – Atalanta vs Arsenal
- Tuesday, October 1st – Arsenal vs PSG
- Tuesday, October 22nd – Arsenal vs Shakhtar Donetsk
- Wednesday, November 6th – Inter Milan vs Arsenal
- Tuesday, November 26th – Sporting CP vs Arsenal
- Wednesday, December 11th – Arsenal vs Monaco
- Wednesday, January 22nd – Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb
- Wednesday, January 29th – Girona vs Arsenal
Let’s have a look at how those fixtures fit into Arsenal’s domestic calendar over the coming months.
The Atalanta trip is perhaps the most frustrating, sitting between away trips to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. The Gunners will have just a couple of days to recover from the visit to Italy before taking on last season’s Premier League champions.
But the PSG match is more forgiving, nestled between home games against Leicester City and Southampton. Arsenal also host Shakhtar Donetsk after travelling to Bournemouth, and before hosting Liverpool, which isn’t too bad.
But the Inter Milan away game completes another tricky week, with Arsenal travelling to Newcastle United the previous weekend and playing away to Chelsea the following weekend. Another three consecutive away games.
Arsenal will travel to Sporting CP after facing Nottingham Forest at home, and before playing West Ham away. Though technically an away game, the trip to West Ham isn’t too taxing.
Similarly, the home match against Monaco is between an away trip to Fulham and a home game against Everton. The Gunners will spend that whole week in London.
Then we’re into the 2025 fixtures, and Arsenal kick things off by hosting Dinamo Zagreb between a home match against Aston Villa and an away match against Wolves.
The Gunners then conclude the League Phase the next week, playing Girona away after the Wolves game, and before the reverse fixture against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.
Frustratingly, Arsenal are playing away from home in the Champions League before both Premier League matches against City, whilst City play at home on both occasions.
The Gunners also play on Thursday before the Sunday September fixture, while City are at home on Wednesday.
The 2023/24 champions have certainly been given a helping hand against last season’s title rivals.
