Arsenal will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League title once next season.
The Gunners have been pretty quiet this summer, but they did complete two signings thus far. David Raya has joined the club permanently from Brentford, while Arsenal bolstered their defence by signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.
They could still be busy towards the end of the window and, if they want, look to sign a central midfielder and a striker.
Eddie Nketiah has been linked with a move away from the club, but he still remains with the squad.
Arsenal are currently looking to ship out some of their young players elsewhere, who are in dire need of game time, either permanently or on
The 20-year-old right-back has progressed through the academy ranks at the club, but he hasn’t made any senior appearances for the Gunners.
Romano says that a “deal almost agreed” between the two clubs, and Arsenal have given him the green light to seal the transfer.
The transfer expert wrote on X: “Brooke Norton-Cuffy leaves Arsenal to join Genoa, deal almost agreed between clubs. Arsenal gave green light to the move.”
In a separate tweet, he confirmed that it will be a permanent move for Norton-Cuffy who will undergo his medical at the Italian club.
The Gunners will receive a fee of around €2 million fixed fee plus add-ons.
He added: “Arsenal will receive €2m fixed fee plus add-ons for Brooke Norton-Cuffy to join Genoa on permanent deal. Medical tests booked later this week.”
The young defender spent time on loan at Lincoln City, Rotherham United, Coventry City and Millwall but it seems his time in England is coming to an end.
Arsenal have enough depth in their right-back areas, and Norton-Cuffy would find it almost impossible to break into the senior side.
