Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson will consider his options after the pre-season tour of the United States amid his uncertain future at the North London club, according to Sky Sports.

The 24-year-old featured in 23 games across all competitions last term but started thrice and is open to leaving for greener pastures.

Some clubs in the Premier League and Europe are keen on recruiting the services of Nelson, with West Ham United monitoring his situation while Leicester City have already held talks with Arsenal over signing him.

The Hale End academy graduate wants to remain in the Premier League if he leaves the Gunners this summer, giving the 2015-16 champions a huge chance in their pursuit of the attacker following their return to the English top-flight.

However, landing him will not be cheap as Nelson still has three years left on his current contract, with an option to extend it by 12 months.

The former England youth international featured for 71 minutes when Arsenal played Manchester United in the first game of their pre-season tour, while he was also involved in action for 63 minutes against Bournemouth last Thursday.

Nelson is expected to play again when the Gunners take on Liverpool on Thursday and Bayer Leverkusen next Wednesday, and he is likely to have made up his mind concerning his future by the time he returns with Arsenal from their tour.

Emile Smith Rowe has already agreed to join Fulham, and the Craven Cottage club have reached an agreement in principle with the North Londoners over a £34 million deal.

Nelson could be next to leave if Leicester or West Ham can convince him to join them, and he will be eager to prove himself elsewhere after struggling to break into the first-team plans of manager Mikel Arteta.
