It should however be remembered that in recent years the largest percentage of players that the media forecast correctly as coming to Arsenal has been just 3% of the total.
Now in most industries, an accuracy level of 3% would be deemed enough to get one the sack from the job, but in football journalism, it is regarded as pretty nifty. Some years the percentage has been just half that level.
