Meet The Class: Latest look at Penn State’s 2026 haul, which ranks Top 5 nationally, before official visits

Penn State poured a lot of early offseason energy into strengthening its standing with the top recruits on its 2026 board and those efforts have paid off in full since late March.

The Nittany Lions have caught fire on the recruiting trail with nine commitments coming since March 25. James Franklin and his staff have welcomed top target after top target into the class to build one of the nation’s top hauls heading into official visit season. That haul has the chance to only improve throughout the following weeks and months given the volume of top targets Penn State remains in good standing with heading into the thick of the official visit slate.

Penn State kickstarted its 2026 class during the summer of 2023 with a commitment from one of the top-ranked recruits in Pennsylvania. Additional Keystone State standouts have followed in committing to the Nittany Lions, while Franklin and company have taken advantage of a region littered with 2026 talent.

Let’s take another look at the commits who currently comprise Penn State’s 2026 recruiting class before the first big official visit weekend of the offseason.
