Las Vegas Raiders Re-Sign Wide Receiver Hunter Renfrow
The Las Vegas Raiders have officially re-signed wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, bringing back a familiar face to bolster their receiving corps. The move was confirmed in a press release issued by newly appointed General Manager John Spytek, signaling a calculated step in reshaping the team’s offensive identity ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
Renfrow, who turns 30 in December, had been released by the Raiders in March 2024 following a dip in production and changes in the coaching staff’s offensive schemes. However, with Spytek taking the reins in January 2025, the Raiders’ front office has undergone a shift in philosophy. Renfrow’s return reflects not only the team’s need for experienced depth at the receiver position but also a renewed belief in his potential to contribute within a reimagined system.
Originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Clemson, Renfrow quickly became a fan favorite in Las Vegas for his precise route-running, gritty playstyle, and clutch performances on third downs. His breakout season came in 2021, when he hauled in 103 receptions for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns, earning a well-deserved Pro Bowl selection. That
